Do You Know Your Chicken?

March 4, 2014

If there’s one thing in this world that I know it is chickens. Because of my awareness of such I am absolutely ecstatic to reveal this poster that I was honored to do for Cibo Matto’s performance at The Crocodile in Seattle, WA. This band is an all time favorite of mine so it is difficult for me to hold back my glee. These will be available at my booth during Flatstock in Austin next week at the Convention Center and soon will be available on Nakatomi. Without further ado here is my latest print:

Clintprints is once again traveling abroad to exhibit across the globe. This time I will be traveling to three new countries…The Netherlands, Germany and Turkey! While in the Netherlands I will be spending some time with the awesome artist Mirjam Dijkema, visiting Vera Studios in Groningen and taking a trip across the German countryside with artist Joris Diks. In Hamburg the American Poster Institute will be hosting the 10th European flatstock at the Reeperbahn festival and I will have a booth featuring the work of myself, Clint Wilson. If you happen to be around during Reeperbahn please stop by my booth and say hello. Check out this amazing poster created to advertise Flatstock Hamburg this year:

After visiting Germany I will tour Turkey for a good week.

I intend to document my travels and adventures with video logs that I will upload to If you would like to follow my travels please frequently visit my “Adventures” page. Also friend me or like Clintprints on FB to see my travel logs. Bon Voyage!

Check out the Schedule for information about who is performing and when! I will be exhibiting my work at the festival and selling my work. I will have a ton of new posters available at the festival. I have also produced an official poster for Starfucker’s performance at the festival and filmed the whole process. Please check out the video, it was a lot of fun to make:

Here is an image of the final poster:

Come on out to Fun Fun Fun and stop by my booth to say hello!

Coldplay and Van Halen

August 13, 2012

Toyota Center asked us to create a poster for Coldplay and I decided to do something a little different with this one. I collaborated with artist Tessa Morrison to create a glass piece and then took a photo of the piece and screenprinted it as a 3 color process screenprint.

This poster is available on Nakatomi for sale along with my new Van Halen poster. Here are images of the final posters:

There’s only a limited quantity available so head on over to NAKATOMI to grab one now!

Mog Moog, Fun. and Guns of Memorial Park

June 29, 2012

Clintprints is excited to announce the release of three brand new posters on Nakatomi today.

Blank Space Gallery was awesome enough to have me as a part of their nerd culture themed art show called “In the Garage” and I decided to turn the nerd volume up to 11 and create this moog and final fantasy spoof. Take a look at each dial and section. Every knob is a reference to some sort of magic, locale, character, battle system or other related Final Fantasy item.

Here is a close up so you can see all the details:

Sasquatch Music Festival always has an amazing line up and they are hip to the screenprinted poster community. This year I created a poster for the band Fun. I’ve been a big fan of Nate Ruess for many years and loved the Format. I was a bit surprised by the overwhelming popularity of the song “We Are Young” that you have most likely heard all over the radio. Nonetheless, they are uber talented musicians and deserve all the recognition they receive. Check out the poster here:

Last but not least is this art print inspired by lyrics from another of my favorite bands, Sparta. This piece is called “Guns of Memorial Park” and is printed with all metallic inks.

These three new prints are now available so follow this link for more information on how to purchase:

Cursive is one of those bands that continues to make consistently good music. “Domestica” was great, “Ugly Organ” was unbelievably good, “Happy Hollow” did not disappoint, “Mama, I’m Swollen” was even better than the previous album and now I’m amazed by “I am Gemini”. I listen to plenty of bands who have one record that I put into my rotation all the time, but with Cursive every single album they produce makes it into my rotation. That being said, I was honored to get the chance to design a poster to promote their show at the Mohawk in Austin, TX. I made it out to the show and, I must say, they were in top form.

These are available on Nakatomi right now and they only have 20 copies available.

Again, pick them up at NAKATOMI before it’s too late.

Toyota center presented Radiohead at their venue in Houston on March 3 and we were honored to work up a poster to promote the event. If you were lucky enough to nab tickets to one of the shows on this tour you know that it was definitly a light show, they were in top form.

Below is an image of the poster we worked up for this event. These are all sold out a Nakatomi but there will be a handful of them available on POSTER CABARET very soon. Keep your eyes peeled for them.

We also now have both the Starfucker posters and the art print variant available through Nakatomi
